Police reconstitute anti-robbery squad for total war on criminals in Sokoto

The Commissioner of Police in Sokoto State, Alhaji Salisu Fagge, on Monday said the reconstitution of the state anti robbery squad was to ensure total war on criminal elements in the area.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Fagge made the remarks in Sokoto at the passing out parade of the newly re-branded squad.
Fagge challenged them to demonstrate high level of professionalism in their operations, so as to earn the full confidence of the people.
He said that their main task was to rid the state of armed robbers, insurgents, cattle rustlers, kidnappers and all high level criminals.
The police commissioner stressed that the command was determined to confront any security threats in the state in order to make it safe for all.
