Lagos urge hajj pilgrims to submit e-passports

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State
Executive Secretary, Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr. Muftau Okoya, has requested pilgrims who intend to embark on Y2016 Hajj to submit their E-Passports to their coordinators at the pilgrims Board.According to him, “intending Pilgrims are expected to start the submission of their E- Passport on Friday, 1st July, 2016, to enable the Board commence processing of visas for a hitch free Hajj.”
He added that intending pilgrims are to submit the original E-passport, as well as a photocopy of the data page, adding that delay or ignoring to submit will affect the processing/documentation negatively.
Mr. Okoya thereafter informed the general public that Y2016 Hajj forms are still available for purchase.
