Ogun LG Polls: Sagamu Chairmanship Race: Arole Azeez Bello Supports AFO

The Chairmanship bid of the APC Candidate, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate - AFO received a significant boost today as the Chairmanship Candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the 2016 local government election, and a former Legislative Aide to Hon Ladi Adebutu in the 8th Assembly, Arole Azeez Bello publicly declared his support for Ogbeni Jubril Afolabi Odulate - AFO.

Arole, as fondly called by political associates while addressing members and supporters of the All Progressive Congress at ward 11 campaign said Sagamu will never return to the inglorious and bloody days of "No way Vs Continuity" clash, citing that the major sponsors and arrow heads of that bloodbath, in saner climes should be talking behind bars. He thereafter challenged the self appointed vuvuzela of the PDP to make public, his contributions to Sagamu before been brought to limelite by Former Gov Gbenga Daniel, his benefactor, whom he later betrayed and stabbed in the back.

Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate appreciated the party leaders, members and admirers from all wards in Sagamu, most especially the good people of ward 11 and 12, which produced the present Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Funmilayo Efuwape Akinyebo(FAECO) and former Governor Gbenga Daniel respectively.

Ogbeni Odulate in his speech commended Prince Dapo Abiodun for his developmental projects among which is the upgraded fire service station at Kara, dual carriage Oba Erinwole Road, renovations of schools and primary health centres while he promised to complement the Governor's efforts.

The DG of the campaign, Ogbeni Gbenga Banjo Baruwa, the Party Chairman Hon Rafiu Opaleye, Hon Segun Shitta, Hon Ademola Adeniran(Sapele) and Arole Azeez Bello presented the party's flag to Hon Temitope Ogunnubi and Hon Waheed Olokun, the Councillorship candidates of APC in ward11 and 12 respectively.
