The Residents of Oko Sagamu really appreciated our Royal Fathers, most especially Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland who worked tirelessly in ensuring that the people of Oko live in a conducive environment.



"Our profound gratitude also goes to Oba Aminishan, Minister for Mines and Steels, Hon. Lekan Adegbite, Distinguished Senator Lekan Mustapha, representing Ogun East at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, House of Assembly Deputy Majority Leader representing Sagamu State Constituency I, Offin, Hon Segun Shitta, Ogun State House of Assembly Member, representing Sagamu II State Constituency, Makun, Hon. Ademola Adeyinka Adeniran Sapele, Hon. Gbenga Banjo Baruwa, the past Transition Sagamu local government Chairman, Comrades Gbenga Lawal Ambassador Easy, Blogger/ Media Practitioner, Segun Sikiru Success, the President, Sagamu Youth Association and Superintendent In Charge for their prompt responses and followup from time to time.



"A letter was sent to the Correctional Service Center, Sagamu by Comrade Gbenga Ambassador Easy few months ago, calling all Prominent Remo Leaders to come to the aid of Oko Residents.



"It is with joyful heart and gratitude that we announce to you today that the stinking and broken pipes meant for their faeces and urine have been removed and the construction of the delapidated drainage finally completed."

Mr Kola expressed.

One of the Oko Residents, Mr Kola spoke with Save Our Nation on behalf of others, deeply expressed his joy and enthusiasm, said they've been neglected for donkey years, he gave kudos to all those who made this wonders happened this period as it's long overdue. He prayed that may God never leave them all for a moment.



Recall that the agitations started mid this year in July 16th precisely when the Oko Residents called the attention of Gbenga Ambassador Easy, A Remo Born Blogger and Media Practitioner to the disgusting and uncomfortable environment they live in for the past years.



The Blogger through Save Our Nation was able to make the agitations known to the populace, which attracted the attention of the like of Akarigbo, Adegbite, Mustapha, Shitta, Sapele, Baruwa, Segun Success and others who partook in the process and ensured that the needful is being done promptly.



Apart from the fact that Hon. Minister Lekan Adegbite spoke with Hon. Minister Rauf Aregbesola, he ensure that he followed up the project up to the execution stage.



Meanwhile, a close source to the federal government under the ministry of interior disclosed to SON that the Federal Government has approved some certain amount of money for all Correctional Service Centers across Nigeria to rehabilitate what is needed in their areas of locations and make the environment conducive for the Residents, this was done due to the agitations of Ako Residents in Sagamu, Ogun State.



Also, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland singlehandedly addressed a letter to the headquarters of Correctional Centres in Nigeria, attaching the letter of Sagamu Youth Association (SYA) written under the Leadership of Comrade Segun Sikiru Success.



The people of Oko won't forget this soon as they've suffered neglect for donkey years.
