Ogun LG Polls: Gov  Abiodun Visits Sagamu, Says No Opposition In Ogun State

History was made in Sagamu today, when Gov Dapo Abiodun visited Sagamu to drum support for the APC Chairmanship candidate in the July 24th local government election in the State, Ogbeni Jubril Afolabi Odulate-AFO.

The Governor, haven visited fourteen local governments before Sagamu, stormed Sagamu with the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Engr.  Noimot Salako-Oyedele who is also the DG of the State's Local government election campaign committee and State Caretaker Chairman,  Chief Yemi Sanusi. Also in the campaign train is the Secretary to the State Governor, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, the Chief of Staff Mr Afolabi Shuaib, 

The Governor's envoy was received by the DG of AFO/CIS campaign committee,  Ogbeni Gbenga Banjo Baruwa who is the Chairman of the Sagamu local government transition committee, Hon Adewunmi Oriyomi MHR, Hon Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Funmi Akinyebo Efuwape, Hon Abdul Bashir(Segun Shitta) OGHA Deputy Leader, Hon Ademola Adeniran(Sapele) OGHA Member and other government appointees and party Chieftains.

Chief Tolu Daodu, Hon Onanuga, Hon Efuwape,  Hon Segun Shitta, Hon Adeniran Ademola and a host of other political office holders from Sagamu appreciated Prince Dapo Abiodun bringing the dividends of democracy to Sagamu with over 60 projects across all sectors of Sagamu while the attention of the Gov was also brought to other areas that needs government attention. 

The Gov, who was excited with the reception of the good people of Sagamu, said Sagamu remain his second home, promised to complete and commission the ongoing Oba Erinwole road while he stressed further that all other roads mentioned,  shall be attended to. Prince Dapo Abiodun in strong terms,  also warn the youths of the State to shun cultism, with emphasis on Sagamu and said a special anti cultism squad will be commissioned and stationed in Sagamu soon, as their menace could throw spanners in the wheels of progress of Sagamu. 

The State Caretaker Chairman of APC,  Chief Yemi Sanusi and Ogun East Senatorial Chairman of the party, Dr Adedoyin Asoludero presented the party's flag to Chairmanship Candidate of the party, Ogbeni Jubril Afolabi Odulate-AFO and his Vice,  Comrade Isiaka Salami while the 15 Councillorship Candidate were also presented to the Governor,  H. E Prince Dapo Abiodun for a COVID-19 handshake. 

Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate in his vote of thanks,  appreciated the Governor,  whom he described as a father,  and the Deputy Governor for their supports.   The highly spirited Ogbeni Odulate also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Tolu Daodu led Elders of the party, Sagamu local government leaders, Hon Opaleye led Caretaker committee, transport unions and members of APC for their supports.
