Ogun LG Polls: Showers Of Encomiums As AFO Takes Campaign To Ogijo

Not even the heavy downpour could stop the highly motivated local government election campaign train of Sagamu today, as members, loyalists, admirers and party faithfuls defy the weather to accompany the Chairmanship candidate of the party. Ogbeni Jubril Afolabi Odulate-AFO on his campaign to ward 10, Ogijo. 

The campaign started in ward 13, Igbepa with a brief courtesy call to the palace of Onigbepa of Igbepa where the guests were wholeheartedly received by the Oba and his Chiefs. The campaign was held at the palace arcade, where the party's flag was presented to Alhaji Dada Musa Ogunyombo as the councillorship candidate of APC in ward 13 in the July 24th council election.

While the campaign train was heading towards ward 10, Ogijo, the dedication of the party members was put to test with a heavy downpour. But the campaign train was resilient, as neither the rain nor the heavy traffic could stop the moving train. This astonishing show of love and dedication by Ogbeni Odulate was however justified by the overwhelming reception from the good people of Ogijo and the ward 10 Councillorship candidate,  Hon Babalola Oluwakayode Emmanuel.

Hon Rafiu Opaleye, Sagamu APC Caretaker Chairman presented Ogbeni Odulate to the host while he, Ogbeni Odulate in his address appreciated the gathering for their steadfastness and firm belief in Prince Dapo Abiodun led government of Ogun State while he promised to complement the State government's in bringing developmental projects to the grassroots if elected in the July 24th poll.
