Hon Uche coroborated his assertion by stating that marrying a female child might be on the high side in some other states but definitely not in Imo State, he stated that even in Imo State he came from, people have the belief that its on the highest side at (Mbaize), meanwhile, he said he has 5 sisters, 2 of which are happily married to the Deltans and Yoruba Man, non of the men paid huge amount of money for dowry nor spent lavishly on the ceremonies, he said this was due to the fact that Imo State people, even his parents are not after money but wanted their children to be well loved and taken care of, he also confirmed that the same thing is applicable to his wife's family.
He hereby enjoin their Brothers to come down to Imo State and marry the beautiful Ladies who are matured enough and ready for marriage, they should all discard the notion of spending exorbitantly during marriage.
