Due to the rumours being peddled around that ADC has adopted a Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi of Labour Party, Ogun State ADC broke silence and reiterated commitment to the mandate and victory of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"The attention of the Ogun State Chapter of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been drawn to the declaration of support by the National Secretariat of ADC for Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

"We use this medium to reiterate our unflinching and unwavering commitment to the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria. 

"Just as we declared at the Ake Palace on February 1st when we flagged off our campaign, we are irrevocably committed to Asiwaju's victory on Saturday. We have continually been campaigning for him throughout the state, and we will continue to do so.

"This clarification has become not only expedient but also imperative to guide members of ADC in Ogun State as well as our numerous supporters who have been calling since the news broke out.

"We remain committed to fixing Ogun State and turning things around for the benefit of the good of the people of Ogun State". Adelanwa Matemilola, State Chairman, Ogun ADC affirmed.
