The house of assembly Lawmaker, Hon Adeniran Ademola Adeyinka aka Sapele who's presently representing the fantabulous people of Sagamu II, State Constituency at the state chamber condoled with the Victims' families of the flooding that occured yesterday in Makun area of Sagamu local government of Ogun State.

"I was shocked yesterday when I heard the news of the yet to be identified young boy who lost his life in the flooding during the heavy downpour that lasted for hours.

"It saddens my heart, may God grant the family of the flooding victim the fortitude to bear this irreparable and irreversible loss." Sapele stated.

Sapele also promised to work hand in hand with State Government under the leadership of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun in ensuring that the suffering of people in the area is ameliorated.

SON had earlier reported that the heavy downpour yesterday in Makun was huge as one death was recorded, bikes and properties swept away by the torrent.

The erosion around express junction - dallof junction down - Awolowo down to Ogunyanwo Street to Isale Ojumele which was supposed to be channelled into the dumess river is always enormous.

Sapele in his words implored people in Sagamu II, State Constituency to stop the habit of throwing dirts inside the drainage system which could contribute to the clogging of the waterways and thereby cause havoc.
