President Buhari resumes work today

President Muhammadu Buhari would today resume his official responsibilities as head of the federal government after five days vacation.
On Friday, February 5, the President said in a statement in Abuja that he was embarking on a five-day vacation.
The statement, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said while on vacation, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would perform his functions.
The President also said he had dispatched a formal notice of his vacation to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution.
It was learnt that the President would later this month embark on official visits to Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia where he is expected to perform lesser Hajj.
