Banks Closed Down In Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode And Some Other Towns In Ogun State.
Published March 7, 2016.
Where are we heading to in this country?
All banks have stopped operations in some towns in Ogun State.
Just 3weeks ago, all banks closed down leaving people stranded, paralysing economic activities within and outside the town. They resumed last week Thursday and worked through Friday from 9:00am - 2:00pm daily.
They've closed down today again, Save Our Nation gathered that the so called armoured tank in Sagamu and Ijebu-Ode precisely developed a mechanical fault.
A head cash in one of the bank in Sagamu told our source that the joint task force which include, OP MESA, Police, Vigillante and SARS told all banks to be paying them #200, 000 daily and that they will secure the environment from 9:00am - 2:00pm and banks have decided not to pay the joint task force again as they claimed that they can't afford to pay such amount of money daily which enabled the joint task force to terminate the deal today.
When the bank would start operations is yet to be known.
We enjoin the Federal and State Government to please find a lasting solution to the issue on ground because people are suffering, the can't go on with normal business activities, no transfer can be done, no deposit and no withdrawal and most of the ATM machines have not been working effectively.
May God Save Our Nation!!!
