Barely twenty four hours ago, the place of Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland released a press statement notifying the general public on the need for a prompt traditional rites slated for today at 4:00pm.



The statement dully signed by His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland and also the Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas' which was shared with Save Our Nation SON read thus, "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN





"This is to inform the General Public that Akarigbo Road from Cinema Road Junction/Total Petrol Station up to RSS Roundabout will be closed to all Vehicular and Human Movements between 4pm tomorrow Thursday, 7th July, 2022 and 4am Friday, 8th July, 2022. 


"This is for the purpose of Traditional Rites in view of Recent Security Situation in Sagamu. While the Palace of HRM Akarigbo of Remoland regrets the very short notice, the total co-operation of all people of Sagamu is urgently required." Stated emphatically in the press release.


Our correspondent who was able to visit some major streets in Sagamu reported that shops were closed and activities paralyzed despite that only Akarigbo road was affected.


It was also reported that Bars, eateries, restaurants were said to have been closed around 4:00pm in Sagamu, while bike men and cab drivers were spotted running and rushing down to their various homes without carrying passengers.
